But I am having a relevant personal celebration: my church just decided to become a reconciling ministry (a small movement in the Methodist church that just involves having a written mission statement about being open and fully accepting of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people & doing outreach/being public about it) so *does a little victory dance* but, seriously, I wrote most of this while I was waiting to hear how the reconciling vote turned out and it helped me heal a lot. I hope everyone enjoys!
